The Pet Porpoise Pool is an animal park that has been open for over 40 years now and provides a unique and extremely interactive animal experience for their Guests.
The Pet Porpoise Pool offers volunteer opportunities to individuals who wish to gain experience working with animals and who share their passion for conservation of animals, particularly marine mammals and their environment.

Roles and advantages
Options include:
- Internships - Open to university students both from Australia and overseas, needing work placement as part of their course, usually for a block of 3 – 6 weeks. There is a minimum requirement of 7 days work placement.
- Volunteer Programme - Open to people from 16 years of age currently working or studying in the animal care industry and wishing to gain practical experience. Placements can vary from blocks of 1 week to 1 day per week for a period of up to 3 months.
- Work Experience Programme - Open to school or TAFE students. These students undertake a block or full time work at the PPP, usually for a period of 1 week.
