Appalachian Trail Conservancy Volunteers
Appalachian trail conservancy maintains the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in North America. This is a footpath which is more than 2,160 miles long that is maintained by volunteers. Crews of between 6 and 8 volunteers work under an experienced leader constructing shelters, building bridges and maintaining the trail. It is a great way to explore America and make new friends whilst taking advantage of free food, training and accommodation!
