Animal rehabilitation Volunteers

Inti Wara Yassi’s main aim is to rehabilitate and care for the animals they rescue. Many of the animals they rescue have been on black markets and have been hunted with the aim of being sold on. Many of the animals are endangered species.

There are three different refuges that volunteers can work on. At Parque Ambue Ari the work is more varied, but at Parque Machía the living conditions are better (e.g. electricity, hot showers, etc). Parque Jacj Cuisi is their newest park and facilities are basic, volunteers are needed to help with construction and caring for the two pumas and other animals on the site. There are a range of animals that need caring for that volunteers can help with such as Monkeys, pumas and reptiles.
